I'm Gav. A carpenter and musician from Melbourne, Australia.

I bought my first camera in 2010 and started shooting anything and everything and soon realised that I was hooked on yet another expensive hobby! I was inspired by the likes of Andre Govia, Danielle Tunstall and Joshua Hoffine. My style of photography is like my taste in movies; dark and messed up!

"Capturing the moment" isn't a term I'd use to describe my work. I prefer to make things look the way I'd like them to look and not the way they really are. Reality doesn't do it for me, we all see this every day and through my eyes it's not that prettier picture.

I have taught myself how to use Photoshop (to a very limited extent) and use quite a lot of plug-ins to achieve the result I'm after. I Love HDR!

I use a Nikon D5000, my favourite lens is my Nikkor 10-24mm.

I have a gorgeous girlfriend named Robyn who means the world to me.

I'm a drummer in a band called Pony Girl and the Outsiders, check us out, we rawk!!!
