I trained in animation and had various jobs in animation and TV graphics after leaving college. Recently I have just finished my animated film which is currently being shown in various film festivals worldwide. I studied photography at school and completed a Degree in Video Production at KIAD. I Have always taken photographs from the age of four but have only recently started to take it seriously.

 

Since July 2010, my photographs have been featured in the largest Lomo wall at Photokina, I was made a Lomo ambassador. My photos of The Big Lunch have been selected for the national archive at the Eden Project. I have been Published in the Birmingham Post ten times, four times in the Birmingham Mail and twice in Positive online magazine. I have also just completed the Street Photography Now! Project which he successfully completed posting a photograph every week for 52 weeks in response to an instruction set by a contemporary street photographer. I have been a finalist in the Alex Coghe Simply the Best Competition and also a finalist in the Leica World Street Photography Competition. I have been exhibited in the Stephen Bartels Gallery in London.

 

I shoot with a 30 year old Leica M6 and a 70 year old Topcor 50mm Simlar LTM lens. The Topcor is very sharp but not quite as buttery as a Leica. Wanting to get a Leica Summilux 35mm. Have recently bought and am shooting with a 30 year old Minolta Rokkor 40mm, very nice lens but I'd still like a Summilux 35mm.

 

I also use a Contax T with a 38mm Zeiss Sonnar Lens, I have used lots of compact film cameras and this is the one that suits me best, but having said that I've recently been using the Olympus XA which I find easier to use and has a comparable lens quality to the Contax.
