I have been passionate about cake decorating since a child, and in 1978 undertook a course of 10 lessons, covering piping, lace work, curtain work, making fondant, covering cakes after levelling them and making some basic flowers and fillers.

The passion is still there and I've never stopped learning!

I now demonstrate to other like minded people, and I've trained as a National Judge. I enjoy judging and look upon creating my show entries as professional development. I'm constantly amazed at the skill and talent around the world.

I continue to enter cake shows in NZ and bring home trophies with my entries. I belong to our local cake decorators guild, which is part of the larger NZ Cake decorators Guild. I attend our National Conferences, and have now been overseas to demonstrate my Casablanca Lily, other flowers and techniques.
