I'm a mother, grandmother, piano teacher, and church pianist. I'm self taught and relatively new to photography. I picked up a DSLR for the first time in Dec. 2009 and started shooting manual a few months later. My first love is children's portraits, but I'm enjoying the process of learning other new things. I haven't yet figured out who I want to be as a photographer. I feel myself evolving as I experiment with new techniques. I'm inspired by the flickr community and the wonderful images I see every day. I see the world differently now than I did 2 years ago. Looking through a lens will do that to you!
