I have worked as a music video director, documentary maker, writer, rock photographer and mentor and trainer for emerging filmmakers for the past 10 years. I'm probably best known in Australia for my cult Japanese surfing road film Bondi Tsunami, my guerrilla approach to filmmaking, and an eye for capturing stylish and iconic visual imagery.

In 2008, I received the prestigious Myer Fellowship from AFTRS and was invited to attend the 2020 summit due to my research into critical pathways for the conceptual development of New Media and Virtual Worlds.

I'm passionate about telling Australian stories and join the ABC Open team keen to connect with photographers and other media makers in the Gippsland region.
