This account is a collaboration between Astrid Photography and fotok1952, or Astrid Smit and Jan-Karel Kok. We work together in these photos: we take photos, we point out to each other where and what are other possible points of view. We choose the best photos and delete the not-so-good ones. Finally we arrive at one series in which both our qualities have merged in a synthesis that is more than just a combination of the two of us.

The wedding of Ela and Patrick was our first project we did this way.

We intend to do a project 'Beyond 40' in which we take nude-art photos of women and men past their years of what is commonly thought of as beautiful.
