I've been based in the southern highlands for more than twenty years. My passion for the people and places in this region, and other parts of Australia, has shown through in many of my projects, particularly for the ABC's Regional Production Fund.

I love getting out there, with microphone and camera in hand, to find stories that are both personal and reflect where I live - I think of this as multi-layered field recording. My cross media feature productions include Locked Gate, Loaded Gun, which traced my community's presence in the delicate urban/wilderness interface, and Two Women of the Mountains, a portrait of local living pioneers.

I also have over 15 years experience writing, producing, and directing television and radio documentaries for the ABC and SBS, again with a regional or arts focus, including the award winning documentary Two Thirds Sky - Artists in Desert County, and the recently completed music series for Radio National, Do That Dance!

I'm interested in linking with other photographers in the Illawarra and Southern Highlands region.
