I live in Bristol.

I live in a small village in rural Wiltshire in the south west of England. Once upon a time I lived in Bristol and (see below) Scotland.

I live in Crail, a small fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland.

I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bristol. I work in computational chemistry and crystallography.

I love cooking and gardening, going for walks in interesting places, running, cycling and (of course) taking photographs.

I aspire to own a camera whose lens does not fall out at inopportune moments. that is not second-hand. (But I do love my second hand camera!).
