I have always wanted to learn to sew, but I have never taken the time to get past existing patterns, to make my own.

So, I have started this project to learn how to sew, tailor, pattern-make, drape, knit and crochet with Alexander McQueen as my mentor and guide.

In one year I am going to learn to sew by creating:

• One year,

• 30 looks, one designer, Alexander McQueen,

• based off of the list “10 things every woman must own,” by Tim Gunn

• Wear all of these looks (outside of my home, somewhere),

• and report back here on all of the progress throughout.
