My lifelong dream has been to build a Barbie house that can hold my childhood dolls and all of the many playscale treasures I've amassed since I became a "collector" in 1994. (Really I'm just a woman in her 30s (UPDATE: 40s) who never stopped playing Barbies.) I found all these great Flickr groups when I was looking for ideas and examples of other homemade Barbie houses. That's when I discovered that you don't even have to build a house -- you can make temporary displays, photograph them, and then put it all back in storage. This is brilliant, because it takes up a lot less space, I can share with others, and it cuts way down on the dusting!
