I am an amateur photographer, and not a very good one at that. I do enjoy taking photos and the ones I post are more to visually document the places I have been and things I have seen rather than for the actual quality of the photos. I do enjoy viewing so many of the amazing photos posted by so many talented photographers here on Flickr and hope that some of you find my photos interesting as well.

I've been following Richard for a few months now. A great discovery, especially since he lives in my local area. He says "I am an amateur photographer, and not a very good one at that." Well, that's being too modest. He does excellent work. And, he travels a lot, whereas I'm a homebody. So it's nice to see good pics from around the area and more distant locations. Most of his subjects are things I would look for also. Keep it up Richard!
