We are residents of Alhambra, California who disapprove of plans by the State of California to build a high speed train through the streets of Alhambra, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, and Rosemead. The proposed train platform will be more than three stories high in the sky and race at 150 miles per hour through our neighborhoods. Homes will be torn down, train noise and vibration will increase, and property values will be affected. There are other better and less densely populated routes the state is considering and should choose.
