I'm an amateur photographer and do it solely for a hobby. Photography has been an interest of mine since I can remember. I started out using various kinds of point and shoot film cartridge cameras.That should be a clue to my age. I'm a young 56 years old. My first SLR camera was a gift from my lovely wife and it was a Pentax K1000. It still works like new but sadly it sits in it's case hardly ever used.

I've only been using a digital SLR for about four years and wish that digital cameras were around when I first started photography. Sometimes technology is a good thing ha ha. I love listening to Blues & Classic Rock including The Guess Who, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, B.B.King, Buddy Guy etc. etc.

My other interests are boating, camping, spending time with family and friends.
