Ephrem Laupie is a 31 year old frenchman specialized in Travel and Surf photography. Originally from the beautiful region of "La provence" in France, he has spent the best part of his life visiting the globe in the search of the unknown.

Touched by the perfection of the waves and the incredible atmosphere of Bali, he decided to settle down in the island of the gods in 2009.

Day after day, road after road, riding his motorbike, he explored the jewels of Bali. Deeper and deeper, reaching the most remote areas. He discovered a unique place on earth full of shiny colors, enchanting smells, breathtaking landscapes and wonderful people. This is what makes him decide to enter the world of photography.

“I was looking for a way to transmit my love for this island. In my opinion there's no better way to do it but through the eye of my lens. My pictures are testimony of moments, places and people I met along the way”.

Ephrem also combines his skills of waterman (surfer/bodyboarder) and photographer to shoot aqua surf pictures. A specific housing for the camera, a pair of flippers and a perfect knowledge of the ocean allow him to take photos in the heart of the wave in motion.

“My way to shoot is an instinctive one. A shape, an angle, an emotion, an atmosphere creates the optimal combination”. His collection reflects a true sensitivity and is a tribute to the beauty of Bali.
