my family has recently purchased the vessel Ileola. She is undergoing major restoration and I am attempting to collate as much of her history as I can. The Ileola is a rare design and there are precious few like her. Built in 1952 in Geelong by Geoff Wood, she is a 55' Marco Polo designed by L. Francis Herreshoff..
