The Arboretum, University of Guelph, is a 165 hectare (408 acre) site consisting of woody plant collections, gardens, old growth forest and provincially significant wetlands, all within the boundaries of the City of Guelph, Ontario. Every year, more than 73 000 people visit The Arboretum for self-guided walks, interpretive tours and a variety of programs and workshops. The Arboretum supports over 1700 different taxa of woody plants including world class collections such as beech, birch, maple and conifer families. There are over 10 km of trails to explore, so come for a visit!
