I got interested in Photography at around 1981 when I was a student in Thessaloniki , Greece. My first camera was an Olympus OM4 which gave me some beautiful moments and pictures. after that I went to Nikon and went from Nikon FM to Nikon FE to Nikon FE2 and finally to Nikon F4 .

When the digital revolution arrived I lost interest in picture taking and stopped searching for images.

In May 2012 I got a Nikon D800 , Nikkor 24-70 F:2.8 , Nikkor 70-200 F:2.8 and a Tamron 90mm F:2.8.

The Tamron is mostly on my camera for macros helped by a Nikon SB910 flash plus a Nissin Di 622mk2 flash and a Nikon SB24 flash. After shooting my first landscape with the 24-70 I got myself the 14-24 f/2.8 Nikkor and added also the NiSi filter system. Along with my Gitzo tripod are almost all I need for my shooting excursions.

My time is really limited so I mostly shoot landscapes at dawn and night and macro photography at home in my garden.

Almost all of my images are real and represent what was there in front of me at the time of shooting. Galaxys , stars , sunsets , clouds are real and was there when I took the shot. Filters help me create my final image ... not photoshop .I do not like composites and adding elements in an image. In the rare occasion that something out of the ordinary in post processing was done is clearly mentioned in the description.
