Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to view this profile and let it be known, I greatly appreciate it.
To begin, I'm a newbie when it comes to the world of photography but I'm nowhere near new when it comes to seeing a potential "subjects".
I made this account in June of 2010 as a way for me to keep an online backup of my photos -since I am bad at keeping track of small USB drives-. This account was meant for the purpose of keeping photos I like organized.
Soon after, I've seen photographers on here that made me gawk in awe at thier "Arts". As a result, I've learned to appreciate their talent as should all.
I've done some growing up when it comes to photography thanks to a special friend here on my end. She gave me an old school Twins Reflex Lens box camera and told me to play around.
After pictures were taken-along with a few destroyed flims- I also learned the painstaking art of developing the photos. Needless to say, Photography is an art-it's just that cameras are so popular now and easy to use that this internet is packed full of good photos.
Needless to say, be happy for your digital camera, even if it is a small point and shoot type. The new cameras represent aweinspiring advancments.
I thank my personal guru-photographer/Yoda-ish teacher. Through her guidance, a new kind of thrill for photography has been discovered. I will post my learnings for other newbies to learn as well... I just need to make sure I get around to it since procrastination is a strongpoint.
More or less, I'm more of a writer than a photographer, but hey, the Twin Reflex Lens camera begs to differ =D
