I am a wife and mother of 2 grown children....one is happily married. I also have an Irish Setter named Ruby.....she is just 6 months old and a handful. I love nature and all forms of art....it's all about creation!! I have a potter's wheel and love to play with clay. I join our Parks and Rec. center 2x's a year for a class so I can get my pieces fired. I love to garden. Living in Arizona can make that a bit tough because it is so hot in the summer....maybe some day we can get a place in the mountains for the summers. That would be heaven. I love quilting and all things related. I love to try new patterns or just making things up as you go along. I am learning all the time and love all the flickr groups that are out here to help me grow in my abilities. I have made such amazing friends. I am most fond of real things....handmade more than machine....don't get me wrong I love my machine but I like hand work the best....just don't know how to do it yet. I am retired from the public schools system. I managed an elementary school cafeteria for over 20 years.

I love the color blue....but love browns and green and reds....I have a huge stash and fabric collections. I love it when something comes up and I know just what fabrics to pull from what I have been collecting. I just love to have fun and create!!
