I live in Arizona but consider myself a "beach girl". I love to sew, and bake cookies! My husband and I love to travel and spend time with our many children and grandchildren. I am "retired for now" and manage to keep myself very busy!

I love to decorate with vintage pottery and a lot of color. My house is "beach cottage" and for Christmas I use a lot of vintage ornaments and glitter houses. For sewing I use a lot of color! I like vintage cute, but not too juvenile like teddy bears, kittens, etc.

I am not a fabric snob....but I do love good fabric! I am more into color than by who designed it. Although...I do love Amy Butler, Kaffe Fassett, and Phillip Jacobs..a lot!

I love to work with linen. I also love oranges, yellows, greens, blues, gray and black. And I confess...I love Batiks! I also love to make stuff with a beach-vibe. In late summer and fall I find that my style quiets down a bit...I love autumn things and the use of linen and gray. Text fabric and low volume are very interesting.
