From 14-19 July 2013 the Olympic Flame will burn in Utrecht, the Netherlands. 2700 young athletes from 49 European countries will be competing in 9 sports: Athletics, Basketball, Judo, Handball, Tennis, Swimming, Volleyball, Cycling and Gymnastics.

The EYOF is a biennal high level multi-sport event for talented young athletes from across Europe. The EYOF is organised under the flag of the European Olympic Committee (EOC).

In 2013 Utrecht will host the 23rd edition of the EYOF. The event features the best Olympic traditions, such as the Olympic Village, opening and closing ceremonies and the Olympic Flame.
