Retired - 5 year apprenticeship and 28 years as a Sheet metal worker/steel fabricator, 2 years at Sheff Hallam Uni for a BSc, 10 years as a secondary school Teacher of Design & Technology, and finally a Fabrication and Welding lecturer at Rotherham College.

Got my first SLR in 1976 at the age of 14 and been a keen amateur ever since. Went digital in 2004 and my first DSLR in 2006. I photograph anything and everything but have a particular interest in Wildlife, especially Macro work.

I exclusively use Pentax equipment having and extensive range of vintage and up to date lenses.
