Photography...I more or less stumbled over it. Thought as a Christmas present for my wife, the Sony Alpha 5100 turned out to become my daily companion that shows me a different perspective of the world around me.

Like many physicist I always had a natural interest in optics but for years I enjoyed photography only as a consumer - with flickr providing a superb platform.

Adopting the active part is now generally exciting and fun, sometimes technical, often disappointing, still eye-opening, increasingly recognizing …

As a newbe I experiment a lot with camera settings, perspectives, filters, digital techniques etc. that I read about or see from others, so don’t expect any consistent work yet. I am eager to learn, so don’t hesitate to give me feedback. I hope you enjoy some of my work
