Ginkgo biloba (Chinese 銀杏) is a living fossil, the unique surviving species of tree of the family Ginkgoaceae. It is the oldest tree on Earth (250 milions of years). It survived the high exposure to radiations due to the Hiroshima bomb, thanks to its deep roots: a plant sitting 1 km from the epicentre of the bomb close to a temple was seriously damaged, but it could survive and after some years, when the first people could come back on the site, they found the tree alive and sprouting up. The temple was then rebuilt around the tree, which became the symbol of hope.

in all its colours, flavours, smells

let the world just talk and whisper

let your mind just fly and guess"
