La Bibliothèque de l'École nationale des Ponts et Chaussées ou École des Ponts ParisTech a une mission de diffusion et de capitalisation des connaissances dans les domaines de compétences de l'École. Elle comprend une bibliothèque ouverte à tous publics, la bibliothèque Lesage, 10 bibliothèques de laboratoires de recherche, un fonds ancien, une photothèque.

The École des Ponts ParisTech, better known as the École nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, is one of the world’s oldest engineering institutes. It has been training the elite of French engineers for over two centuries. Its Library includes about 200.000 items. The historical collections hold more than 90,000 books, manuscripts, journals, maps, photographs and drawings, and other printed matters from the 18th-19th centuries. The coverage, mainly focused on civil engineering, also includes a wide range of other fields : architecture, astronomy, economics, politics, geometry, mathematics, etc.
