For the past two years I've been working as an Oncology/Telemetry nurse. Despite the busy shifts and emotional challenges of working with oncology patients, I absolutely love what I do. My work is my passion. Each day brings something different and i'm always learning new things from both my patients and the general field of nursing. Being a nurse is highly rewarding and I am privilege to work with my patients and co-workers.

In my free time, I love taking pictures and experimenting with different angles, perspectives, colors, etc. I am fascinated by photography for the fact it's an amazing tool that allows me to capture my surroundings, a feeling (perhaps my feeling) or a moment in time with one simple click. I think growing up watching my dad in the darkroom helped to foster this passion, and I hope that with practice, better equipment and time my ability to take pictures will improve. One current issue is the lack of time to post new pics, so hopefully that'll change sooner than later. I'd love to hear feedback on my photos as far as the good and bad or suggestions of how to improve the shot or composition. There are incredibly talented photographers out there and constructive criticism is always welcome. Thanks in advance!

I also thought I'd include a nifty little world map of the places I've traveled to just for kicks. Hopefully the red will only increase with time... Visited CountriesMy Visited Countries
