Skill level- Beginner

For years I have been doing the simple point and shoot style of photography. Even after purchasing my Nikon D3100, I set the dial to automatic and would fire away. I really do enjoy taking photos, especially scenic shots. I live in West Virginia and there is some really nice scenery here.

I have recently decided to figure out how to use my SLR the proper way. When you look at my photos, you will probably not have to look hard to see mistakes. I will be learning with a lot of trial and error. If any of you feel you would like to make suggestions on my photos, feel free to do so. It will be greatly appreciated.

My interest include Paranormal Investigating, motorcycles, ATVs, music and night time photography.

I am just beginning to venture into the world of photography and I want to reach levels beyond the simple point and shoot method.
