I have always enjoyed photography, but in 2010 the thrill of taking an image really captured my imagination. With a camera in my hand I now stop, look, wait and observe and see the world in a different light. In April 2017 I was delighted to be awarded an Associate Distinction by The Royal Photographic Society having previously been awarded a Licentiateship in 2012.

I favour monochrome and whilst landscapes, seascapes and church interiors are my favoured subjects, I will photographs anything which works well in black and white. I use a combination of Lightroom 5, Photoshop CS5 and Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert the RAW files to monochrome.
