I've been collecting radios for about 30 or so years. Fell in love with the late thirties sets with the tuning indicator / magic tuning eyes. As time went by I began to appreciate the more "modern" plastic sets of the 50's and early 60's (mid-century modern). I still enjoy DXing on the shortwave frequencies although the content isn't as good as it was several years ago.

I also collect and shoot firearms. It's enjoyable and a great stress reliever. I still like to fish, although I don't seem to have as much time to do get away as much as I would like.

I'm retired law enforcement and am enjoying the simple, quiet life now.
