I only recently started to get interested in photography, summer (2010). Having never taken a decent photo in my life, I thought I'd better get myself something other than a point-and-shoot camera, so I got my first DSLR, a Canon 500d.

But still, I couldn't take a decent photo!

So I've been on a very basic introductory photography course, I understand the basics and and am trying to put it into practice, but there's so much to learn.

I'm really excited to learn from other people though and have found other photographers to be very friendly and helpful with advice. I appreciate any constructive criticism regarding what I have done so far as it's all beneficial to me.

I just haven't got to grips with knowing or understanding how the processing works yet, but am working on it, slowly!
