I have been married to Susan for 25 years; we have three wonderful daughters - Eleanor (22), Amelia (20) and Stephanie (18), none of whom like me to photograph them.

I enjoy landscape/seascape photography where the world slows down a little. Panoramas dominate my photography output for the moment. Up close on natural objects every bit as grand as a mountain range.

Fortunately for me, my job involves a little bit of photography but mostly videography. I don't travel far from home, so I look closely at what's at hand. Besides, this site opens a window to the world.

This virtual community is a wonderful way to unite the world with imagery.

I chose my icon image of a friend's dog because it reminded me of the romanticism of black and white film days that I started with, mixed with the wonderful freedom the digital realm offers.
