Life is a journey, not a destination

I'm not addicted to photography – not in the least. Actually I've set up this photo stream only to share some moments of life with family and friends who are scattered to the four winds. Nearly none of them have got a Flickr account. And especially my father still don't understand how all these photos find their way to the web, or that they can be extended by double-click.

As a child I wanted to become like the Man from Alice Springs, a lonesome rider comic-cowboy, but fortunately I didn't feel like learning to ride a horse. I switched to Phantom, Lee Falk's superhero, a mysterious crimefighter operating by night from the jungle. It seemed to be a good idea to live a life like Phantom: Living in a tree house and in this fabled skull cave, together with a mountain wolf and some close local tribe friends, but without things like washing machines and all-risks insurances.

Meanwhile I really love the sea, too. Tea or coffee sunrises and beer and gin tonic sunsets. Now a freelance writer and public relations consultant in tourism industry (tree houses, skull caves and all that).
