Fashion & photography are congenial partners whose fruitful relationship is creative & innovative.

Ephemeral Fashion gains permanence as well as visual interpretation through fashion photography as the fun in fashion would be lost without the staging & the audience.

All I´m trying to accomplish here is to create visions, magic worlds, whimsy & inspired scenes & catch images in the mirror of the unseen.

With my little shows I want to prove that style doesn´t know age. Even a woman like me, - past her fifties, can deliver a powerful statement by embracing life & showing the full experience of a creative & self-conscious living!

To me fashion is like a stage for personal theatre - you act out your feelings and attitudes in as subtle or dramatic a way as you wish to show, and there is no better way to help you achieve that goal than through art-to-wear clothing.

My designs are all made by hand, one-of-a-kind, I use various processes, from painting, dyeing and texturing, to knitting, crocheting, sewing, appliquéing, embroidering etc., following an open-minded approach to creating for all purposes, including the choice of materials for which I have no set limits, anything is possible!

Texture is my number one love. I see beauty in all kinds of texture, including the natural unweaving and stretching of the fabric – which is why I almost always let texture show along the edges, connect seams on the outer side when appropriate as opposed to having them hidden, and tear fabric instead of neatly cutting it. That, too, gives each piece its individuality and special charm. Any accents like that are an integral part of the design and should not be considered irregularities.
