Last year I won my category 'Shape' in the renaissance photography, a world wide competition- See www.renaissancephotography.org.uk. It was a very proud moment for me.

I was also shortlisted for photographer of the year in 2009 for my image 'Rain' in the London category.

I've always been interested in visual images but only got my first SLR, a Canon 400D for my 40th birthday . I took short evening courses in photoshop and basic photography and have have hardly put my camera down since! I like to photograph anything and everything. I especially like to try to capture the beauty in every day life that can be so easily missed with all the rushing about that everyone does. I love that there is always something new to see and learn.

I get a huge amount of inspiration from flickr and great support from my contacts and friends. Thanks to you all x.
