I'm a middle aged wife and mom who's just getting back into photography after too long of an absence. I had a dream in high school of being a nature landscape photographer but didn’t pursue it like I now wish I would have. They say it's never too late to follow your dreams, so I am trying to catch up with the digital age - as time and money allow.

One of my dearest friends, my “best good friend”, and I have also re-connected after much too long an absence. It is he who has encouraged me to get on this thing called flickr. Thanks Ken, for finding me, for your encouragement and your friendship! I have made a few new contacts and friends and am encouraged by the “lovin’ good vibration happenin’" here.

I’ve always loved taking pictures and trying to capture the moment or make a memory. I’m inspired by nature, landscapes and life around me so that’s pretty much what you’ll see in my photos. My family teases me when I run to grab the camera or stop the car to snap a shot. I also love music and lyrics, and pairing them with my photos. Unfortunately, one thing I know for sure, childbirth DOES cause the loss of brain cells. I don’t have the instant recall of lyrics that I used to and expcept for the rare simultaneous golf match / play date, I don’t have the time to put the two together these days.

I am learning a lot from the many great photos I find here. If I ask you to be a contact it’s because I feel a connection with either your pictures or your profile and I hope you’ll reciprocate. I welcome any thoughtful comments and suggestions you may have to help me improve my photos. Please respect my contacts just as I’ll respect yours.
