I am James Frost. A little bit about me.

I am an international photographer originally from Cornwall, UK who spent most of my early years growing up in the south of Spain. I was inspired by my Grandad, a well known wedding photographer from an early age. It was from him I grew a passion for the beauty of photography.

Over the last several years I have traveled from coastline to fishing village focusing on surfing and surf photography. This seemed a natural progression to combine my two loves. During this time I met many characters in which i grew a fascination for documentary and portraits. They told me stories through their weary eyes and weathered skin, and I told their stories through my lens.

I soon began finding myself falling in love with another story. A story of boy meets girl. Your Story.

The connection, the commitment and everything in between.

On your day I will be there from the beginning until the end. It’s the small things I won’t miss. The glint in his eye. The flushing of her cheeks as she walks down the aisle. The nervous look he has before she arrives. They are the moments I will capture. The real moments.

I do travel. And will travel down the road, across the country and overseas to be there on your day.

To me photography is my art. It’s not just about capturing an image. It’s telling a story.
