Founded by Tristan James and Varrick Douglas, Proletariat Productions is a community based record label committed to producing progressive quality music of all genres. As an independent label, our goal is to create music that inspires social change. We are dedicated to making music that breaks barriers both in content and form.

We record, produce, promote, and distribute the music of artists who are dedicated to social change. We do not release music that can be perceived as misogynistic, racist, sexist, homophobic, or elitist. We are dedicated to producing music that allows freedom of expression within these boundaries and we are willing to take risks to benefit artists who have a passion for positive social change. All genres of music are welcome for review.
