I love taking photographs of the landscape that surrounds me and the discovery of all those hidden gems. This wonderful hobby has now taken over my life and maybe become an obsession but I couldn't think of a better way to spend my free time than capturing this beautiful part of the world that I live in.
I have found that nature and photography has been perfect therapy for me throughout life's challenges and this quote just about says everything -
I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order ~ John Burroughs.

I just love her photographs. They are so beautiful and taken from the heart. She does not need processing, they are naturally gorgeous. I so enjoy "walking with her" through her photos in her wonderful part of the world. She is such a supportive friend and contact too, always find the time to look and comment expressively about my shots.

Flickr is a place on the web to show your view of the world through your lens and it is very good at this. However its best use is as a sharing forum where people can comment and admire this work but it also it offers an opportunity to inspire others. Sue is undoubtedly a photographer of real quality but more importantly is someone who takes time to view other's work and then add something of her own. This, to me, is invaluable in the development of the photographic community and where Sue excels by offering her views and comments. Sue takes a lot of images that are very close to my hometown; they stand out technically but also offer me a different insight into our shared world. So thank you Sue, I do hope we get the chance to meet someday.
