Been introduced to photography by my dad, who used to work in the DDR photo film industry at ORWO/Wolfen as a chemical engineer.

Gone into digital SLRs after 2006, first with Canon.

Somehow between 2011 and 2018, I entirely lost the interest into photography, and didn't possess any appropriate gear either.

Inspired by a friend whose equip I could borrow occasionally, I decided to make an entire restart with Pentax.

But after one year of Pentax usage in 2019 and my previous Canon experience, I recognized the inherent flaws of the Pentax system and made a full switch back to my original regular brand Canon.
