I am a music fanatic (all kinds, especially classical) who only recently finally bought a camera (Nikon Coolpix L22) to take with me on an Amtrak trip out West with my wife Betty and brother Steve, a longtime photography fanatic and member of Flickr www.flickr.com/photos/24150334@N08/ . I cannot actually compete with him for quality or composition (he has a much steadier hand and better camera--a Nikon D60).

My first photos will be from our trip. What follows is yet to be seen. I do live out in the country now (Saline, MI, near Ann Arbor), plus my wife and I intend to continue traveling.
