Diana's Holiday Snaps
Drag to set position!
I am a (pre-op) transgendered woman just passed 50. I am tall (181cms), slim, well-educated and well-travelled. I am British by birth, but live and work elsewhere. I like fashion and shopping, I am an unashamed bibliophile and political hack, I adore music and theatre, opera and ballet, good food, fine wine and interesting cafes, bars and restaurants. I don't smoke and drink but moderately.
I am hetrosexual and enjoy the friendship of women. I would love to share my times out and about with a sensitive, cultured gentleman. I am not interested in coarse language and sexual innuendo, fetishism, 'drag' or costumes. Photos of genitals are an instant turn off.
I 'came out' on the internet in 2004-5 and started 'dressing' in April 2005. My initial influences were Ana Cristina Garcia and Lucy Hamilton. I first went out en femme in August 2005 and in April 2010 I celebrated a century of outings. I like to go to restaurants and cafes, shops and bars, galleries and tourist attractions. Because I live abroad I am away from any scene and so I rarely go to clubs or specifically TG events.
I like to travel and cross boundaries - physically and metaphorically. I have been 'out' in the UK, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, France, Hungary and Spain. I fly back to the UK regularly and usually end up on the south coast.
I don't think my flcikr profile page is the best place to discuss the pace or the progress of my 'transition'. Feel free to mail me if you are curious.

I've been on flickr nearly two years and I have 'met' many people. It has been an education and I hope these encounters continue. I would be very interested in meeting up with people 'in the flesh' so to speak and so please drop me a line if you are interested.
Earlier this month I went out for the 200th time. It was a fresh and bright Sunday morning in Berlin. I've started to add videos to my photostream and so I hope that gives you an added dimension to the page and a fuller understanding of who I am.

Hmmm. I'm beginning to find that flickr is inhabited by a rude type of person. There seems to be a tendency for people to add me as a 'contact' or even a 'friend' and then disappear never to be heard from again. Please don't do that. It's rude and makes me nervous.
