I studied biology and work as a cityplanner in Amsterdam, where i also live. I borrowed a nikon d70 from my travelbuddy Bruno in 2008, and got addicted to the vibration of the mirror clicking up and down. Photographing is my way of celebrating the beauty of the earth, the evolution, people, human civilization and the time we live in. A kind of atheistic praying. Just takin the picture makes me happy. Some might be nice for others to see. Therefore I joined Flickr.
