ARTissue'10

On June 1, is the grand opening of the Global Yearbook of Fine Arts

 

ARTissue'10 is the name of this Art Fair featuring participants from all around the world. Artists, Galleries, Museums, publish their best artworks to be cataloged in an art issue of the highest quality.

 

ARTissue'10 is quite specific, it is not a print edition, not available in bookstores. The Global Yearbook is digital, online through the ARTissue.org publishing company, with free access for everyone to enjoy. The web design is a stylistic finesse, composed of floating windows and white transparencies on a soft gray back- and foreground.

 

The navigation system is fun, simulating a graphic edition you can turn pages with 3D effect (pageflip system), tear of pages which you don't like you and zoom to see the artworks at full resolution. If you don't like gray, you have more background themes to choose, if you don't like white buttons you can see them in black. And while you surf for the ARTissue'10 pages, enjoy the 24 radio stations that offer different options of music to accompany the moment. Now relax, observe and assimilate the most important works of current art.

 

The creators of ARTissue'10 say, "in the art lies encrypted the keys of all knowledge accumulated by humanity... it only requires patience and abstract vision to observe the artworks. Now you can let your mind fly, absorb and receive the incalculable value they possess, which is not determined in money, but rather in beauty and elegance of fundamental wisdom, thoughts and feeling channeled by the artist expressed in his work"... this beautiful thought is the company's engine, the reason that Artissue.org has invested nearly 2 years to develop ARTissue'10.

 

The logo of ARTissue.org shall remind us of the hands painted into prehistoric caves, whose authors has marked their presence over time. Now ARTissue.org invites exhibitors (artists, art galleries, museums) to take part in ARTissue'10, global yearbook of fine art, with their artworks as testimony of our evolution for posterity.

  

About ARTISSUE.org, unlike graphics publishers, ARTissue.org doesn't perceive any benefits by publishing and globally announcing the yearbook. Therefore thanks to ad pages of sponsors that accompany this initiative is possible to make fine and elegant it publication, free for everyone. Also each exhibitor help with paying their application, depending on how many pages has acquired.

 

Like any publishing company of art issues, Artissue.org publish personal art issues on request. On its website, artissue.org, we can find 6 precious examples, of two great galleries, Mary Boone (NYC) and White Cube (London), and those other by excellent contemporary artists. These publications are produced almost handmade. Artissue claims "this human touch is the special quality in the edition and publication".

 

The Artissues as all developments made on Flash platform, can be embedded into websites and blogs. On personal art issues, author gets a downloadable version that he can store in digital driver (CDs, cd-cards...) and thus becomes a valuable publication by promotion or selling.

 

Currently under development until the publishing date of ARTissue'10 (june 1st), two applications on MySpace and Facebook will allow which users can dispose of artissues published to collect in personal libraries, and publishing tools online to create their own artissues.
