I am a retired ex-teacher, born in 1951, so a "baby boomer" over 50. I have interests in sailing, remote radio model yacht sailing, model boat making, computers- both using and as a hobby, and now photography.

We bought a Sony 350 twin lens kit last year, and inherited our son's Minolta SLR lenses after he gave up SLR cameras.

I put lots of boring model boat photos in sequence of work on a Facebook account over the last couple of years, just to show my daughter what I was making. I used a HP R707 for those. We recently purchased a second 350 body second hand and a 2.8 Sigma macro lens, so we now have 2 bodies and 5 lenses. Hopefully now there won't be fighting over the camera. Just the computer. Oh well, now to up grade the old one.
