Photographer is the last word I would use to describe myself, I make no claims to being one, and probably am not a very good one. So now that I've said that, I think once and awhile I take a decent picture- completely by accident. Whether anyone finds these or comments on them or not, I don't know or care. It's not a popularity contest for me; certain things interest me, and I try to get a picture of it that will help me rember the place. The subject of the picture is much more interesting than the picture as a whole. My inability to get the camera settings to do it justice, or have ANY damn luck with the weather (a few less clouds and haze would really be nice) or lack of knowledge-from-birth that some people seem to have to take a photo at night without the glare mess- all work together to make me the most mediocre and unmemorable. That's all okay, I'm trying to share places with people, and some of them are truly mundane but once and a while they capture my eye, and hopefully make a nice picture. I don't want people to be inspired by my photography, I would want for people to instead desire to visit the places that I see. I can use a pencil much better than a camera.
