I'm an enthusiastic amateur photographer who enjoys gardening, bird-watching, computers and wood-working on the side.

I have used and use several different programs for editing photos including some that no longer exist. My personal favorite is Corel's Photopaint (probably because I've worked with it so long). I was a tier-one beta tester for Corel back in the 90's and enjoyed the on-line friendships that I made - people that I've never met, but some of whom have remained friends over the years.

I am constantly amazed at the level of talent and creativity that is exhibited on Flickr and it's a joy to browse through so much good work.
