I bought my first digital camera in April of 2010 and have been enthralled, captivated, obsessed ever since. Photography has changed my life in so many wonderful and unexpected ways … it’s truly been an amazing journey. In fact, I knew my life had changed irrevocably when I found myself standing on a picnic table in the middle of the night taking photos while dogs barked at me … lol. Having always believed that I am entirely left-brained with no artistic ability whatsoever, for the first time, I’ve discovered a way to explore and develop my creativity from which I derive great joy … like a child discovering a new world. If you’ve looked at my photostream, you’ve probably noticed that I have a propensity for flower photography, but I don’t limit myself to one particular type of photography. I shoot whatever interests me and “catches my eye”. I am continually amazed, inspired and humbled by the phenomenal talent of other Flickr members, and I am very grateful to my Flickr friends for their comments, which has provided me with much encouragement and support.
