I'm a semi-retired musician/music teacher going through the "what do I want to be when I grow up" stage.... I've been playing/teaching/writing/teching/crewing/promoting/selling/buying music off and on for 40 years, mostly bass and vocals, but have also at times included guitar, percussion, melodica and keys. I've met more amazing people and seen more incredible places than I can remember because of it, and I consider myself a very fortunate person for the experiences and friendships that I've had.

I'm a geek on many fronts, and I'm proud to have brought my son up as one too. I say "rad". A LOT.

I'm a huge Lego fan with a focus on Star Wars and sci fi, with dabbling in other themes when my club is working on projects. I've been humbled and inspired by what I've seen here as far as SW MOCS go, and I'm realizing there's so much more to it than I've been doing.

Recently(ish) I returned to shooting the rest of the world, outside of the brightly coloured plastic I'd focused on. I discovered I'm drawn to bridges, staircases, old buildings - especially old churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, etc, sunsets, bridges, cats, the moon, guitars, and public art as subjects.
