Retired Military and love to photograph Grizzly bears and other wildlife. We stay in Colorado for the few winter months and then it's back to Yellowstone and more photography.

I would love to get much better at photography. After looking at most pictures on Flickr I find I really need to slow down and learn to use my new camera. The only problem is that when I am in front of a grizzly everything goes out the window in order to catch the bear. Most of the time I only have seconds to get the shot. Sometimes the bears stay in one area and then I have the luxury of trying different things with the camera. This is the year I try everything and still get good shots.

Last year I dropped my 100-400 lense and camera face down on the pavement from my truck. It caused all my shots to be slightly out of focus. After repairing the lense and camera this winter I am ready for this spring.
