I obtained my diploma in feature film directing in 1963 and went on to make feature films, documentaries and commercials, winning prizes at Film Festivals. My first job was at MAFILM as an assistant director. It was not long before I succeeded to get a commission to direct my first feature film. I had to wait more than ten years for my next opportunity and during this time I became a scriptwriter. One of my screenplays was produced in 1978, a story about a removal firm. My remaining feature films were produced for television. From the 1970s onwards, in addition to the MAFILM jobs, I was making documentaries for television and cinema as well.

During this period I also made live programs. I allways enjoyed this unusual challenge, which called for immediate and decisive direction.

NOW was the most complex of the youth programs. It included TV programs, a magazine, a theater, a film club and creative camps. For a short period there was even a NOW vegetarian restaurant! It was exciting to oversee all this. I launched the NOW magazine in 1990, and in 1991 I won a competition for youth television programs, making 180 minutes of publicity available monthly to multi-talented teenagers. In the same year a public opinion poll showed that NOW instantly became the most popular teenage program.
